Junior Test Engineer- North

Based in Israel, this role offers a great opportunity to work on advanced wireless telecom and cloud-based 5G solutions while learning from experienced engineers. You’ll collaborate with local teams and global Parallel Wireless sites — contributing to ORAN wireless technology testing and innovation.

What you will do:

• Review requirements and specifications to support the testing process.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases for 5G technologies (as per 3GPP standards).
• Assist in designing and setting up test environments based on requirements.
• Collect and analyze logs during test cycles, helping troubleshoot i ssues.
• Support in resolving end-to-end setup issues (e.g., UE/mobile, RF/fiber connectivity).
• Reproduce and validate defects found during internal and customer testing
• Verify product functionality, stability, and performance based on use cases.
• Document test results and share actionable feedback with the team.
  
  

What you should have:

• 1–3 years of experience in software or telecom t esting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge ofPython(or other programming language).
• Familiarity with automation scripting and an interest in automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RF systems and basic RF t roubleshooting.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, L2/L3).
• Experience with Linux/UNIX environments.
• Willingness to learn 3GPP concepts and telecom protocols.
  
  

Nice to have:

• Exposure to 4G/5G network architecture and protocols.
• Experience with test tools or scripting from previous roles/ p rojects.
• Knowledge of virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud platforms.
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Communications, or Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent).
