Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

eToro is expanding the Israeli SRE Engineer team and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team.

The role responsibilities include the development of features, tools, and observability infrastructure.

You will work collaboratively with R&D, architects, and DevOps in a fast-paced agile environment.

What will you be doing?

•  Collaborate with R&D engineers on coordination, communication, and execution of production-related operations.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services.
• Develop and deploy monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to identify and mitigate operational issues proactively.
• Build an SRE dashboard with KPI to measure eToro’s application reliability.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize system performance and resource utilization for improved user experience. 
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance our infrastructure and operations.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

•  3+ years of experience as SRE / DevOps
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
• Cloud providers: AWS /  GCP / Azure (preferred) .
• Experience in Containers, Kubernetes , Terraform , Ansible.
• Excellent understanding of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience with integration tools (e.g. GitHub Action, Jenkins).
• Good understand of Middleware technologies such as “RabbitMQ”, “Kafka” ,“MSMQ” 
• Familiarity with Git.
• Practical experience in database applications (SQL, Oracle,MongoDB) - advantage
• knowledge of  Observability tools (Splunk, Data Dog, Grafana, Corologix) - advantage
• Knowledge in operating systems, networking – advantage
• Great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent, strong self-learner, with ability to self-manage tasks and meet deadlines
• Problem solver, able to remove roadblocks.
• High level of English with great communication skills both verbal and written
