Technical Lead for C-Pi’s clinical data team

Clalit Innovation is leading the digital health and AI transformation in Israel's largest healthcare organization.

We are looking for a technical lead for C-Pi’s clinical data team. C-Pi is Clalit’s groundbreaking solution for proactive-preventative healthcare, which is already impacting thousands of clinicians and millions of people.

Responsibilities:

•The technical lead of the C-Pi data developers

•Manage across-team task prioritization (planning sprints) – 10-20% of the team’s time is dedicated to such across-team tasks.

•Develop the data strategy to manage the clinical and product requirements of C-Pi as we scale and as Clalit in parallel undergoes significant changes to its data infrastructure

•Lead code reviews with focus on SQL best practices, and coaching junior/mid-level developers to write scalable, maintainable SQL.

•Develop POCs hands-on, pushing our infrastructure and technical boundaries

Requirements:

•3+ years of industry experience, with a strong background in data-focused roles - a must

•Excellent SQL skills with proven experience querying large, complex data sets – a must

•High level coding in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) – a must

•Data engineering background – ETLs, automations, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt), CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of data architecture, data modeling and data pipelines.

•Up-to-date with best-in-industry practices

•Excellent interpersonal communication skills

•Organized, thorough, and detail oriented, with good ability to multi-task

Advantages:

•Work experience in healthcare organizations and analytical applications related to health

•BSc/BA or above in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Bio-statistics, with a specialization in Health Information Systems
