We seek an experienced and visionary Group leader with deep, hands-on expertise in Python and AWS to lead the company’s technological strategy and drive groundbreaking innovation. In this role, you will manage multidisciplinary development and architecture teams while actively contributing to technical decisions, code reviews, and hands-on development.

You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to ensure the highest level of technical excellence and align technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.

Description and requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Technological Strategy: Define and drive the company’s technological vision, including planning innovative system architectures for core platforms.
• Manage R&D Teams: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams of developers, architects, and engineers to achieve company objectives.
• Hands-On Development: Actively participate in coding , code reviews, architecture assessments, performance optimization, and resolution of complex technical challenges.
• Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to align development efforts with business goals.
• Promote DevOps Culture: Implement Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD processes to enhance efficiency.
• Foster Innovation: Cultivate a culture of innovation, learning, and technical excellence within the team.
• Risk Management: Ensure the development of secure, stable, and scalable systems while managing technological risks.

Job Requirements:

• Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required).
• MBA or advanced management experience (preferred).

Experience:

• Over 5 years of experience in Full-Stack software development, including at least 2 years in R&D leadership roles.
• Significant hands-on experience in Python and AWS
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams in a dynamic environment.

Technical Skills:

• Deep proficiency in Python for developing complex systems.
• At least 2 years of recent experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudFront, and more.
• Strong command of RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, OpenSearch).
• Experience with Bitbucket and AWS DevOps tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Serverless Framework.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies: OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Autonomous Agents, and ReAct patterns.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing e-learning or EdTech platforms (significant advantage).
• Knowledge of CMS platforms like Umbraco.
• Proficiency in React (TypeScript) for SPA development.
• Advanced skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with test automation and performance monitoring tools.
