Job Title : Pre-Sales Engineer
Join PractiTest as a Pre-Sales Engineer and become a driving force in our sales team’s success. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of the sales cycle—turning complex technical capabilities into clear business value. Partnering closely with our Account Executives, you’ll help win new clients by showcasing how PractiTest’s leading test management solution transforms the way organizations manage quality.
Your expertise will allow you to quickly understand customer challenges, craft tailored solutions, deliver impactful product demonstrations, and clearly articulate our unique value proposition. By combining your technical know-how with a customer-first mindset, you’ll not only accelerate deals but also build lasting relationships that fuel our growth and revenue goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with our Account Executives to identify customer pain points and position our test management platform as a strategic solution, aligned to technical and business needs
- Lead product demonstrations and proof of concepts to showcase differentiators and value. Engage in technical discussions with prospects to address their questions, concerns, and objections related to our software testing products.
- Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on the latest features, enhancements, and industry trends, enabling you to provide accurate and timely information to potential clients.
- Map prospect environments, development workflows, and QA maturity levels to recommend optimized test management strategies.
- Work with Customer Success Post-Sale, to transfer clients’ needs smoothly
- Assist in creating proposals, RFP responses, and other sales-related documentation that effectively communicates the technical aspects of our solutions.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase our products and stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback from customers and prospects, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in QA, software testing, or test management — ideally in a customer-facing role (e.g., pre-sales, solution consulting, or product training)
- Proven experience in a technical pre-sales role within the B2B software industry, with a strong emphasis on software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and test automation; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey value and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Engineering degree - an advantage
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS, etc.) - if applicable].
- Excellent English -> both verbal and written (this part will be examined as part of the job interview)
