We are looking for a hands-on Backend Team Lead to join our fast-growing company and build a brand-new team from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation, lead talented engineers, and shape the future of Torq’s security applications content.

What Will You Do?

• Build and lead a new team from scratch.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, focusing on professional growth.
• Lead the development of pre-built security steps, workflows, and templates to accelerate customer adoption.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated PM to align product priorities with business goals and deliver maximum customer value.
• Improve workflows and create unified standards for security content and processes.
• Build and enhance engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD, DevOps, platform reliability, and testing systems.
• Foster a multidisciplinary, innovative environment while maintaining high engineering standards.
  
  

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and guiding teams.
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
• 1+ year of experience in leading teams or mentoring technical talent.
• Proficiency in Go - an advantage.
• Background in security - an advantage.
• Strategic thinking and high-level problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.
