Chromatography Laboratory Manager – Global Pharmaceutical Company (3454)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chromatography Laboratory Manager to lead a large and dynamic analytical lab within a global pharmaceutical organization. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a strong scientific background in chromatography and proven experience in managing both people and processes in a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a large team of scientists and lab technicians.
• Oversee chemical and biochemical quality testing using advanced chromatographic techniques, including HPLC, UPLC, GC, and MS.
• Ensure compliance with GMP regulations, corporate policies, and quality management systems.
• Define and implement laboratory testing policies and SOPs.
• Manage lab budgets, project timelines, and long-term strategic planning.
• Oversee investigations, change controls, CAPA, protocols, and deviation reports.
• Collaborate with global departments and stakeholders across the company.
• Foster the professional and personal development of team members.
• Ensure employee training and certification in laboratory procedures, safety, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Significant managerial experience in a GMP pharmaceutical laboratory.
• Deep expertise in chromatography with hands-on experience in HPLC/UPLC/GC/MS.
• Familiarity with Waters systems and Empower software – an advantage.
• Knowledge of pharmacopoeias, regulatory standards, method validation, and analytical method transfer.
• Experience working with LIMS systems – an advantage.
• Experience in protein or biological product chromatography – an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English, both written and verbal.
