BI Systems Analysis Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced BI Systems Analysis Team Leader to join the Data & AI Department of a leading organization in the center of Israel.

This role involves leading a team of BI systems analysts, driving business and technological processes, and delivering impactful BI and data solutions across the organization.

Role Description:

• Direct and professional management of a BI systems analysis team.
• Full responsibility for requirements gathering, business analysis, and defining BI solutions.
• Collaboration with development teams, data analysts, and infrastructure specialists.
• Leading cross-organizational BI and data projects.
• Planning and monitoring schedules, tasks, and team deliverables, while ensuring business knowledge management.
• Working closely with business users and senior management.
• Developing and implementing work standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience managing a team of BI systems analysts, including professional leadership.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BI systems analysis within a large organization.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL tools, complex data models, and BI tools such as Qlik and Power BI.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, NiFi) – an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with project management tools (ADO, JIRA, Monday).
• Proven experience leading large-scale technological projects with multiple interfaces.
• Experience managing and guiding hybrid teams including system analysts and backend developers – an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
