Co-Founder / Founding Engineer – Responsible AI

About Us 

We are a stealth-mode startup building the next generation of Responsible AI systems, models and infrastructure that are safe, reliable, and transparent without slowing innovation. Our mission is to redefine how large language models are trained, deployed, and governed in production. We combine deep AI research, production-grade infrastructure, and a fast-moving product mindset to create systems that scale responsibly from day one.

The Role 

As Co-Founder / Founding Engineer, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of our model and platform stack, from data pipelines and training loops to deployment and monitoring. You’ll be a true partner in shaping the company’s vision, technical culture, and hiring roadmap. This is not just an early engineering hire. This is a founding seat at the table with equity, decision-making power, and the chance to build a category-defining product.

What You’ll Do 

• Architect and implement LLM training, fine-tuning, and evaluation pipelines (PyTorch/JAX, RLHF/DPO).

• Design and scale GPU infrastructure (DeepSpeed/FSDP, CUDA/Triton, Ray) for cost-effective training and inference.

• Build guardrails, evals, and observability systems for safety, bias detection, and compliance.

• Own cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform) with security/privacy baked in.

• Collaborate on product direction and go-to-market with the founding team.

• Recruit, mentor, and lead A+ technical talent.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years R&D team leader with hands-on LLM experience: Pretraining or fine-tuning large models; strong PyTorch/JAX fundamentals.

• Alignment & safety skills: RLHF/DPO, interpretability, bias evaluation, adversarial testing.

• Infra expertise: GPU performance tuning, distributed training, Kubernetes, Terraform, observability stacks. • Full-stack mindset: Can dive into Python, TypeScript, or Go when needed.

• Startup DNA: Bias for action, thrives in ambiguity, relentless about shipping quality.

• Experience in Start-up companies is advantage.

• Location: Based in Israel; able to work hybrid.
