About the Role

The Legal Department at Menora Mivtachim provides legal and regulatory support for the Group’s diverse business activities, with a particular focus on the Investments Division. We work closely with internal business units, senior management, external counsel, and regulators, and handle high-value, complex transactions both in Israel and abroad.

We are seeking a talented and driven Legal Counsel with proven experience in corporate finance – ideally gained at banks, institutional investors, or non-bank credit providers – to join our team. Relevant expertise could include corporate lending, real estate finance, residential mortgage financing, and construction loan transactions, particularly from the perspective of senior lenders or leading financing institutions.

Key Requirements

• Israeli-qualified lawyer with 4–5 years of post-bar legal experience
• LL.B. from a top-tier academic institution (required)
• Substantial experience in finance-related transactions, preferably in one or more of the following areas: corporate lending, real estate financing, residential mortgages, and construction loan financing
• Previous work in a leading law firm in relevant practice areas (finance, banking, M&A, capital markets, securities, or financial regulation) – required
• In-house legal experience at a bank, institutional investor, or non-bank credit provider – strong advantage
• Background or familiarity with financial and economic matters – advantage
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills in Hebrew and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Business-oriented, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of complex matters through to completion
