We are looking for the most qualified teacher for our youngest prospective programmers who are just getting to know the IT world) a Sensei, a mentor, someone who wants to teach children! Helping them to develop the self-confidence from success, find the growth points, overcome difficulties, and learn that they can do more!

1,000 ILS bonus for being certified to teach by Algorithmics International leveraging our free online certification program. Could be certified in 1 to 2 weeks.

We want special individuals who will:

1. Create a cool, driving environment that you and your students would rush to every day. Set the mood!
2. Teach and inspire. The groups are small, up to 12 students.

●       We have our own platform where the kids post their projects, vote, communicate, write their own applications and games. You will also be interested.

●       The tasks are already selected in a super-professional manner. Your task is to motivate, guide, and help if something does not work out.

1. Provide feedback for parents on their children's successes, difficulties, and so on. Not every day but regularly during a course.

And what you exactly will not do:

1. Write methodological guidelines and lesson plans — everything is already done. You shall read and review it before the lesson and go ahead, lighting up the hearts!
2. Spend time checking homework. We simply don't have them.
3. Messing around with paperwork —no reports and unnecessary bureaucracy.
4. Check out "simple" tasks — an auto-check is provided via the proprietary platform. There are also tasks for creating code and making projects at the end of the course. Your excitement, encouragement, and pure creativity will be key.  You will have the personal satisfaction from helping the children to discover their ideas, overcome difficulties, and make a product they will be proud to present.  Actually succeeding will be the most powerful encouragement your students can have!

What skills are required?

●       Technical or IT educational background (or relevant experience from IT courses)

●       Pedagogical or psychological education (it can be a second specialty or complementary)

●       Work experience as a camp counselor or teacher

●       Experience of training children

●       Experience of working with children, especially of this particular age group (6-11 years old, depending on the class)

●       An ideal candidate is a specialist with relevant experience in IT, or a computer science teacher with experience of working with the students of the required age and level (9-10 years old)

4. We offer a minimum of 20.00 ILS for one lesson (0.75 hours). For each student starting with the third student, an additional 10.00 ILS per hour is offered.

6. Flexible schedule. However, once a class is scheduled for regular days and times, those days and times are expected to remain constant for the remainder of the course.
