Innovation Without Borders (IWB) serves as a strategic local partner for diplomatic representatives focused on economic, scientific, and innovation-related relations between their home countries and Israel. IWB empowers diplomats to create robust networks within the local ecosystem, understand Israeli innovation methodologies, and explore partnership opportunities. Our expanding community includes representatives from over 60 countries. IWB operates both a Diplomatic Forum for ongoing collaboration and a Business Arm for connecting international organizations with Israeli tech partners, providing workshops, and fostering strategic alliances.

Role Description

This is a hybrid volunteer role, based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Volunteer will assist in various day-to-day tasks, including supporting events and workshops, conducting research on potential tech partners, managing communication within the Diplomatic Forum, and assisting with strategic alliance-building initiatives. The Volunteer will gain valuable experience in international business and innovation networks, playing an integral part in facilitating partnerships and knowledge transfer activities.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Interest in international relations, innovation, and the Israeli tech ecosystem
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
• Experience in event coordination is a plus
• Background in business, economics, international relations, or a related field is beneficial.
