We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to be the first data hire in our growing startup.
Role focus: Build and own the company’s data infrastructure, create scalable pipelines, and make data accessible across teams.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven backend development experience.
- Strong Python expertise- MUST.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying data infrastructures and pipelines (from architecture to production).
- Proven experience with big data processing using Spark (mandatory) and frameworks like Apache Airflow or BigQuery.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with diverse database types.
- Familiarity with Python data libraries (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Arrow).
- Experience in cloud environments (preferably GCP).
- Immediate availability required.
