Software Engineer – Endpoint Agent (Stealth)

We're an AI-native data security startup currently operating in stealth. We are building in a new next-gen DLP category that gives enterprises real-time visibility into sensitive data flows. Our platform runs where the data lives: inside the endpoint.

The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our endpoint agent team. You will design and implement components that run on Windows and macOS, enabling real-time monitoring and protection of sensitive data. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on low-level system work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain endpoint agent software on Windows and macOS
• Work with kernel APIs, system extensions, and user-mode services
• Write reliable, performance-critical code in Rust 
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define communication and telemetry protocols
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and debugging across multiple platforms

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems programming experience in Rust
• Familiarity with OS internals (Windows Filter Drivers, macOS Endpoint Security Framework, or equivalent)
• Strong debugging skills and understanding of performance optimization
• Experience working on security, EDR, or DLP products is a plus

Nice to Have

• C++ production experience
• Exposure to kernel-level programming
• Prior work on security agents, data loss prevention, or insider risk tools is a significant plus
