Electronics Buyer

A leading global company is hiring an Electronics Buyer for a full-time position in Netanya!

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of electronic components for development and production, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
• Enter purchase orders into the system, track orders, and update statuses.
• Take ownership of the order lifecycle – from issuance to warehouse delivery and supplier payment.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance departments.
• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Initiate and drive process improvements.

Requirements:

• Education: Practical Engineer / B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management or any other relevant degree in Electronics.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Buyer in an industrial company, with solid knowledge of the electronic components market in Israel and worldwide.
• Proven expertise in electronic components procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills for a variety of deal types and volumes.
• Solid commercial acumen and experience in closing large-scale contracts.
• In-depth familiarity with electronics and electromechanical suppliers locally and globally.
• Experience in general procurement, including services and products required for ongoing company operations: consultancy and support agreements, office furniture and equipment, IT and computing equipment, office building maintenance, electronic test equipment, engineering software, training, and more.
• Hands-on experience with Priority ERP system.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and datasheets.
