Back End Developer

We're Hiring: Software Engineer | TypeScript • Node.js • React • Cloud

A fast-growing startup in the cybersecurity space is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join its core product team. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, cloud-native systems that secure millions of endpoints worldwide, while being part of a highly collaborative engineering culture.

In this role, you’ll design and build cloud microservices, develop backend features in TypeScript and Node.js, contribute to frontend components in React, and work in a modern environment with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. You’ll be joining a team that values ownership, customer-first thinking, and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices that power a large-scale cybersecurity platform
• Build backend services in Node.js / TypeScript, with some frontend development in React
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and DevOps to deliver scalable and secure solutions
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, shaping key technical decisions
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
• Release code frequently in a CI/CD environment on AWS & Kubernetes
• Dive deep into challenging engineering problems in web and browser security
• Contribute to a growing team that thrives on teamwork, accountability, and customer impact

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js – must
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React / Angular) – advantage
• Proven background working with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) – must
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows
• Ability to debug and optimize complex systems for scale and performance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; team player with a startup mindset
• BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent experience, including IDF tech units) – advantage
• Experience in cybersecurity – advantage
