The Position

We’re now looking for a Founding Engineer - Full Stack & Product to take a hands-on leadership role in shaping our product and tech vision from the ground up.

Ideal for someone with startup grit, full-stack experience, and the ambition to own the build of a high-impact product.

Job title: Founding Product Engineer, Hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer

Work with: Dev team, with close interaction with the product and marketing.

Reporting to: Director R&D

Starting date: SEP-OCT 2025

Location: TLV, 28 Ha’arba’a st. Ha’arba’a Towers,10 min walk from Ha’shalom train station.

Scope: Full-time

Work mode: Mainly in the office

Responsibilities

Technical capabilities with product thinking -- Maintain the full cycle: Development, Coding & Debugging, Database management, Version control, Testing and bug fixing, Documentation:

Product & System Architecture

• Own and lead the architecture and development of the MindLi platform (iOS, Android, and Web) using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Define and implement the product roadmap together with the CEO and Dev.

Full-Stack Development

• Take full responsibility for coding and building a scalable, secure, and responsive
• Front-end and back-end development hands-on lead, including API integration, database structure, and AI-driven features.

Quality & Velocity

• Set and enforce development standards, code quality, and testing procedures,
• Ensure fast, iterative releases while maintaining technical excellence.

Team & Culture

• Collaborate with team members, advisors, and future hires.
• Contribute to building a strong engineering culture and, later, help recruit and mentor additional developers.

Future-Ready Thinking

• Stay on top of the latest in mobile/web development, AI technologies, and dev tools.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years proven work experience as a system architect, project manager, or equivalent position.
• Hands-on development experience with React Native, full-stack JavaScript, and web development concepts.
• Experience with AI-based features or integrating LLMs.
• DevOps familiarity (CI/CD, monitoring, performance).
• Database Skills: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and experience in writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Git, PostgreSQL, cloud services (e.g., Firebase, AWS), and AI APIs.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in coding, testing, and documents to ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Strong grasp of architecture, scalable systems, mobile UX, and API design.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production apps (ideally in a consumer context).
• Strong product intuition and desire to work closely with the business side.

Nice-to-Haves

• Background in productivity tools or habit-building products.
• DevOps familiarity (CI/CD, monitoring, performance).
• Knowledge of strategic FinSecDevOps solutions
• Experience in early-stage startups or as a founding engineer.
• Hands-on experience with CMS and Email Marketing systems (WordPress, Elementor, Mailchimp, Monday, etc.)
