AI Engineer

We're Hiring: AI Engineer | ML • LLMs • Cybersecurity • SaaS

A fast-growing SaaS startup in the cybersecurity space is looking for an AI Engineer to join a small, high-impact team and build the next generation of intelligent, secure web access.

In this role, you’ll design and deploy production-grade ML and LLM models that power real-time decision-making in a cloud-native environment. You’ll own the full lifecycle — from research to deployment — and work hand-in-hand with product and engineering to deliver AI that makes a real difference for customers.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deploy ML models for anomaly detection, user behavior analytics, and threat detection
• Research and apply cutting-edge AI techniques (LLMs, OpenAI, Gemini, classical ML)
• Run evaluation pipelines, validate experiments, and drive A/B testing
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ship production-ready AI features
• Maintain high-quality, production-level code (Python) with strong documentation
• Take end-to-end ownership: from research, design, and implementation to monitoring and iteration

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in applied ML / Data Science - with at least 2 years as a Data Scientist - must
• Background in software development (grew from engineering) - must
• Hands-on experience in cybersecurity or related domain - must
• Proven expertise with both classical ML and LLMs
• Strong foundation in statistics, experiment design, and model evaluation
• Production-grade coding skills (Python preferred)
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to operate as the sole AI expert
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or a related field - required; MSc - strong plus
