Backend Developer

Build modern, cloud-native backend services for large-scale, distributed systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Golang, Java, and cloud services, while contributing to complex and high-impact backend features. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, learn from experienced teammates, and take ownership of features from design through deployment in production environments.

You’ll design, implement, and maintain backend services in Java and/or Golang.

Collaborate with senior engineers in architecture discussions and code reviews.

Develop features and integrations that operate in containerized, cloud-native environments.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Work with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to ensure smooth delivery of features.

Integrate with databases and infrastructure components such as MySQL, Time-Series DB, Redis, and ElasticSearch.

Debug and resolve issues in distributed, containerized applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Object-oriented development
• Experience in Java, Spring or similar Object-oriented language and frameworks
• Solid understanding of core backend development principles, data structures, and design patterns.
• Basic experience with Kubernetes (e.g., deploying applications, working with manifests, understanding pods/services).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their core services.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications).
• Experience writing services in Golang for Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, or similar) and familiarity with generative AI workflows is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, container registries, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Interest in distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
