Consumer Fintech Product Design at Agoda:

As a product designer focusing on consumer fintech, you’ll collaborate with brand, product, and engineering teams to deliver innovative financial services solutions for our travel customers. Your work will directly impact how we deliver cutting edge digital products, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for users in different markets and segments.

The Design team is a diverse group of product designers and researchers that help to build Agoda’s products from our home office in Bangkok. Being a product-driven company, we constantly partner with product managers and engineers to understand user problems and design workflows, interactions, and visual interfaces. Experience Requirements & Role Expectations:

• 6+ years of full-time experience as a UX/Interaction designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred
• Experience in finance product development or fintech (preferred, but not required)
• Has experience of managing multiple stakeholders within an agile development process
• Proficient in creating wireframes and high-fidelity UI using the latest design and prototyping tools
• A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, process, and solutions as it relates to complex, transactional web-based products or mobile applications
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English
• Strong visual design skills and sensibility, familiarity with design systems
• The Product Designer is an experienced problem solver for areas of high complexity. He/she will work closely with stakeholders across business, technology and marketing to influence and execute on the product team’s roadmap
• The Designer also brings domain knowledge and expertise to co-create future user-centric product strategy with leadership. He/she will lead by creating alignment, telling compelling and persuasive stories to illustrate users’ challenges and expectations, clearly articulate design decisions, drive optimal UX solutions and influence the consumer fintech business for the longer term vision
  
  

Role Responsibility:

• You will deliver hands-on design solutions for complex enterprise business scenarios and well-defined business problems, aligning with product partners’ vision and our business goals
• You will actively engage in research and collaborate with our researcher to evaluate the impact of proposed solutions, driving improvements and refinements towards achieving desired outcomes in consumer fintech products
• You will acquire deep domain knowledge in OTA (Online Travel Agency) business through daily collaboration with product leaders, analyzing research insights, and working closely with stakeholders
• You will represent ‘Agoda Design’ by advocating user-centric design principles and engaging with external property partner touchpoints
• You will collaborate with product stakeholders to drive continuous discovery processes, validating and shaping ideas to experiment with and build upon, thereby influencing enterprise product strategy and roadmap
