Production Lead

The Production Lead oversees daily operations across the IPV Assemblies Department, ensuring efficient workflow through task assignment, quality checks, and compliance with production procedures. This role inspects laser markings, enforces safety and quality standards, and supports issue resolution. With authority to quarantine batches and stop work for safety concerns, the lead ensures smooth, compliant, and high-quality production execution.

Reporting to:

IPV Assemblies & Connectors Department Manager

Tasks:

• Assign work to all workstations in the IPV Assemblies Department supply chain (kitting, marking, assembly, inspection, and packaging).
• Perform random sample inspections at all workstations to ensure work is carried out according to the required production/assembly instructions and in accordance with the procedure specified in the routing.
• Inspect and approve laser markings before the start of assembly, ensuring compliance with the required marking procedure.
• Assist when necessary and refer to an authorized party to find a solution if required.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  
  

• Stop work in case of a safety/environmental hazard.
