UCT is looking for a talented Analyst I, IT Apps to join us in Israel!
The Analyst III, IT Applications leads the delivery of SAP solutions by executing advanced testing, resolving complex system issues, and driving end-user enablement. This role ensures operational excellence through expert troubleshooting, ticket management, and cross-functional collaboration. Serving as a strategic liaison across global teams, the analyst maintains robust documentation and aligns stakeholders to support scalable, high-performing IT applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Testing Functionalities:Conduct thorough testing of SAP functionalities to ensure system stability and performance. Identify and resolve any issues that arise during testing. Examples include:
- Performing unit and integration testing.
- Documenting test results and providing feedback to the development team.
- Training End Users:Develop and deliver training programs for end users to ensure they are proficient in using the new SAP system. Create training materials such as user guides, demos, and quizzes. Specific tasks include:
- Conducting training sessions and workshops.
- Preparing and updating training documentation.
- Investigating Issues:Troubleshoot and investigate issues reported by end users. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. This involves:
- Analyzing root causes of issues.
- Collaborating with technical teams to implement fixes.
- Managing Support Tickets:Monitor and manage support tickets through a Help-Desk ticketing system. Ensure all tickets are resolved promptly and effectively. Responsibilities include:
- Prioritizing and categorizing tickets.
- Communicating with users to provide status updates.
- Facilitating Communication:Act as a liaison between onsite and offshore teams to ensure clear and effective communication. Coordinate with various stakeholders to address and resolve issues across different regions and time zones. This includes:
- Scheduling and leading regular meetings.
- Ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, system configurations, and support activities. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Tasks include:
- Creating and maintaining process flow diagrams.
- Updating system configuration documents.
- Strong expertise in one of the SAP tracks: P2P (MM/WM), Q2C (SD), P2M (PP/QM), and R2R (FICO).
- Proven experience in SAP go-live hypercare support.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation.
- Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA is preferred.
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in relevant SAP modules are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience or 3 full cycles in SAP implementation and support.
- Experience in conducting training sessions and creating training materials.
- Proven track record of managing support tickets and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Experience in cross-functional and/or project team leadership.
