Assembly Department Worker – Fittings

The Assembly Department Worker – Fittings ensures accurate and efficient valve assembly by following detailed production instructions and quality standards. This role performs visual inspections, verifies components, and assembles valves for testing and packaging. With authority to quarantine or reject defective units, the worker upholds safety, environmental, and quality procedures to support reliable product output and operational integrity.

Tasks

• Perform visual inspection of parts.
• Read and understand production instructions.
• Verify the required quantity for kitting.
• Compare marking with valve description.
• Understand assembly procedures.
• Assemble valves according to the procedure specified in the production instruction.
• Transfer assembled valves to the testing room upon completion.
• Sign the process report.
  
  

• Stop work in case of safety/environmental risk.
• Quarantine batches with quality issues.
• Reject up to 5 units per batch.
• Approve batches for packaging.
• Comply with safety and environmental quality procedures.
  
  

• Visual qualification (eye exam).
• Basic drawing reading – an advantage.
• Ability to operate a computer during training.
• Familiarity with products – via training program.
• Familiarity with marking and assembly procedures – via training program.
