Procurement Manager

A leading defense engineering company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to drive complex procurement processes at the core of its operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of buyers across multiple sites, including performance management, KPI-driven routines, task and process oversight, coaching, and training
• Conduct negotiations in Hebrew and English with senior stakeholders, up to C-level executives
• Draft and execute commercial and legal agreements, collaborate with the legal department, respond to tenders, and price complex products and services
• Manage supplier relationships with a focus on strategic partners, develop and maintain long-term collaborations, and identify new, high-quality procurement sources
• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures, driving efficiency and quality improvements throughout the entire procurement cycle
• Collaborate with multiple business units and corporate functions across the company
• Oversee supplier quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Manage procurement budgets and activities with strong financial oversight, including cash flow and inventory management
• Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements, evaluate technological solutions, and select suppliers based on both engineering and commercial considerations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Economics, or Business Administration (Master’s degree – an advantage)
• 5+ years of proven experience in procurement management within a commercial company – mandatory
• Experience in procurement of complex technological/engineering components – advantage
• Strong ability to analyze technical/engineering specifications and work with technological suppliers
• Knowledge of commercial law – advantage
• Knowledge in import and logistics – advantage
• Full proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong command of ERP systems
• Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and collaborate effectively across multiple interfaces

📍 Location:

• 2 days per week from Tel Aviv offices
• 2 days per week from Yokneam offices
• 1 day remote (from home)
