The Blavatnik Center for Drug Discovery is seeking a visionary and dynamic managing director to lead the Center as an innovative and influential hub in the field of drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and implementation of the Center’s strategy and policies in research, infrastructure, clinical activity, and innovation.

* Manage and inspire a team of professional and research staff.

* Advance cutting-edge research projects in collaboration with researchers, clinicians, laboratories, and biotech companies.

* Foster entrepreneurship and a start-up-oriented approach.

* Secure funding through competitive grants, philanthropy, commercial, and government partnerships.

* Initiate and strengthen national and international collaborations with leading research centers, health institutes, and pharmaceutical companies.

* Promote technology transfer and commercialization, including collaborations for orphan drug development.

Minimum Requirements

* Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in life sciences, medicine, chemistry, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience

* Proven scientific leadership and management experience

* Industry and/or incubator experience
