Semiconductor Technician / Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technician / Machine Operator responsible for operating, maintaining, and overseeing the technical aspects of production machines at iTest Israel. This role includes ensuring adherence to schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and performing day-to-day operation of the company’s technological equipment. Haifa / Yokneam

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate testing equipment according to defined procedures, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Conduct electrical testing (FINAL TEST, WAFER SORT) using ATE, HANDLER, and PROBER setups.
• Utilize computer software to monitor processes, document activities, and provide real-time updates.
• Manage warehouse activities, including inventory control, physical separation of functional and defective units, labeling, classification, part numbers, and test status.
• Receive and pack goods according to international standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure safety compliance, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to regulatory requirements; log and return equipment to its designated location.
• Participate in learning and operating new equipment in line with company developments.
• Prepare final or interim reports at the end of processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in the semiconductor industry – an advantage.
• Basic computer skills – typing, email proficiency, Excel, and information systems usage.
• Experience operating testing equipment (Prober, Handler, ATE) – an advantage.
• Technical English – ability to read and understand manufacturer instructions, test plans, and procedures.
• Technician / Engineer certificate (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical) – required.
• Goal-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, detail-oriented, precise, and willing to learn and develop. Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Shift work may be required, including night shifts.
