Backend Team Lead

A company in the Ad-tech domain has developed an AI-driven platform for identity recognition and matching in digital advertising, enabling advertisers and content providers to operate while ensuring user privacy and full compliance with global regulations.

The role includes managing a team of 2–3 developers while remaining about 80% hands-on with development in Java.

The company is located in Herzliya (near the train line) and works in a hybrid model with one day from home.

Requirements-

• 6+ experience working as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
• 2+ years of proven experience managing a development team including code review and architecture decisions, sprint planning, and delivery ownership.
• Proven Experience leading end-to-end development projects – from translating product needs into technical tasks to execution and delivery
• Strong server-side (Java – Spring) experience
• Experience with mission critical distributed systems for high throughput and low latency.
• Experience with Big Data DB
• Experience working with Microservice architecture and distributed messaging technologies
• Experience in Data oriented development
• B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
