Position Overview

GI-View is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its R&D team.

This role involves end-to-end product development, from design to verification, including:

• Mechanical design of complex parts and assemblies
• Preparation of engineering documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 and other standards
• Risk assessment and mitigation throughout the product lifecycle
• Planning and execution of tests, protocols, and reports
• Contribution to product integration, verification, and validation processes

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - mandatory; M.Sc. - an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of proven R&D experience in the medical device industry - mandatory
• Hands-on CAD design experience (complex assemblies)
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes
• Solid understanding of materials (plastics, metals, coatings)
• Experience with design controls and engineering documentation for regulated environments
• Advantage: background in multidisciplinary systems (mechanics, electronics, optics)
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Independent, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with a system-level mindset
