We are looking for a Drone Operator to join our flight tests group (ALPHA Team) with experience in flying & testing Airborne Systems in a variety of missions. You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage flight tests as a member of the ‘ALPHA’ flight tests team.
• Perform test flights in various disciplines of the company, including Spear’s system evaluation & validation phase, which includes writing test cases, running tests, and analyzing test results.
• Manage the test field and cooperate with Product, R&D, Operations and Marketing. This includes working with customers, field engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, test systems, and resolve issues.
• Lead the trial process starting from new capabilities tested for the 1st time, to the stage of maturing the system.
• Working in a high–paced and vibrant atmosphere, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure in the test fields of the company.
• Perform demonstrations (local and abroad), act as the front face for our customers, Take part in customer training, and evaluation of our system.
• This position includes - flights abroad for demonstrations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

• Proven record of outdoor operation experience, with the ability to work in a test field environment.
• Experience in operating drones.
• Experience in airborne systems testing/evaluation.
• Experience in analyzing flight reports (logs), and failure investigations.
• Strong can-do approach and problem-solving capability.
• Communication skills in Hebrew and English
• Driver's license.
• Experience as a Flight Test Manager - Advantage
• Drone pilot's license (CAAI) - Advantage.

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

• You must be presentable and have high human relations and independence.
• You must be able to write experimental plans and reports.
• Drones technical background, Pixhawk, DJI, etc. - an advantage.
