Financial Controller

HOLISTO seeks a passionate Financial Controller to join our growing Finance team.

In this role, you will actively participate in shaping our financial infrastructure, supporting reporting and compliance processes to transform core finance operations to align with a fast-scaling and SOX environment.

About the role:

• Assist with our monthly, quarterly and annual closing process and prepare the company’s consolidated financial statements.
• Help with monitoring budget vs. actual monthly analysis and provide ongoing support to financial planning activities.
• Work closely with the bookkeepers, providing support and guidance on accounting and tax-related matters as needed.
• Responsible for tax compliance and reporting, tax accounting as well as US tax- sales, payroll tax, etc.
• Responsibility for the SOX implementation process, working with external advisors to plan, execute, and oversee all phases.
• Proactively identify and assess control deficiencies and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with both internal and external auditors on the annual SOX testing plan to ensure timely and smooth project completion.
• Ad-hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed.

Requirements:

• CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm
• At least 1-2 years of experience post-internship in a high-tech company, preferably startups and tech companies.
• Experience working for a NASDAQ-traded company is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with US GAAP.
• Experience with Priority – An advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Highly proficient in computer skills, including advanced capabilities with Excel.
• Team player, strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and influence processes across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines.
