Java Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Backend Team Leader to lead and manage a skilled Backend Team within a dynamic, large-scale technology division.

This role involves guiding a team of backend developers, driving high-quality development practices, and delivering complex, large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a Backend Team Lead, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
• Drive backend development for complex projects based on a Microservices architecture.
• Integrate and implement AI capabilities and Vibe Coding into development processes.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL, MongoDB, DB2, SQL, NoSQL).
• Apply modern methodologies in Dev Culture, Testing, and Best Practices throughout the SDLC.
• Create technical design documents, specifications, and conduct code reviews.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, including API architecture and best practices.
• Work with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading backend development teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong hands-on background in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building solutions using Microservices.
• Deep understanding of database technologies, both relational and non-relational.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams.
• Strong organizational skills, high accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Passion for technology, self-learning ability, and eagerness to influence technological direction.
