Senior AI Engineer

One of our clients, a rapidly scaling generative AI startup, is looking to hire a Senior AI Engineer to join their core engineering team. The company is revolutionizing the way online retailers generate and manage visual content, offering a full-stack AI-powered platform that supports real-time planning, creation, deployment, and optimization of eCommerce visuals. With thousands of paying customers and strong recurring revenue, the company has already secured $18M in funding and is growing quickly.

This is an opportunity to join a technically elite team with deep expertise in foundation model research, large-scale backend systems, and advanced AI infrastructure. The company builds its own proprietary models and maintains a strong focus on product quality, performance, and innovation.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our AI systems. You'll design and build large-scale image processing pipelines, web-scale crawlers, real-time recommendation engines, and intelligent features powered by cutting-edge models and LLMs — all on top of our high-performance infrastructure for AI training and inference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable AI systems including image pipelines, crawlers, and recommendation engines.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to productionize novel models and tools.
• Architect and maintain large-scale backend and data infrastructure.
• Stay on the forefront of technology adoption and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong background in system architecture, software design, and database engineering.
• Proven experience in at least two of the following: large-scale backend systems, AI data pipelines, or large-scale web crawling.
• Fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a dynamic startup environment.
• Preference for candidates from early-stage or product-focused companies
