We’re building the first AI medical interpretation platform to help healthcare staff communicate with non-English-speaking patients. Our real-time speech-to-speech platform is already used by healthcare organizations and is growing fast.
We’re looking for our first founding engineer to help lead the future of healthcare language access.
What you’ll do
- Own our Node-based audio server for real-time, low-latency audio processing
- Build real-time voice communication channels and Web Audio pipelines
- Design and ship LLM pipelines and prompt strategies
- Build clinician UI, admin dashboards, and back-office apps in Next.js + TypeScript + Zustand
- Scale and operate on Kubernetes/Helm with Datadog monitoring
- Work with modern AI-powered IDEs (particularly Cursor), using code assistance in a structured and methodical manner to accelerate development and maintain quality

- LLM models / serving / prompting / integration
- MongoDB/Mongoose, AWS, Kubernetes/Helm, Datadog, GitLab
You
- Senior software engineer
- Comfortable in a startup environment; high agency and proactive
- 4+ years building production systems in TypeScript/Node
- Experience integrating LLMs and designing prompts
- Strong architectural capabilities to design and plan complex solutions
- Track record of shipping quality UIs; strong debugging/observability; Kubernetes familiarity
- Regularly work with modern AI-powered IDEs (especially Cursor), leveraging code assistance in a structured, methodical way
