We’re Hiring: Backend team leader – in stealth

We’re seeking an experienced Backend Team Leader to join our innovative company during a pivotal growth phase. You will lead a skilled team of backend engineers, driving technical excellence, fostering collaboration, and championing continuous improvement. You will drive the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and production-ready backend systems that form the backbone of our intelligent data protection platform.

This role requires deep technical expertise in backend development, strong leadership skills to mentor and inspire engineers, and the ability to make strategic technical decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You will ensure the delivery of robust, high-impact solutions while maintaining a relentless focus on quality, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor backend engineers, overseeing their technical development and project execution.
• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs.
• Drive architectural decisions and implement best practices in backend development, cloud infrastructure, and security.
• Manage the entire deployment pipeline, from development to production, ensuring efficient releases.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in backend development, with a proven track record of designing and building complex, distributed systems.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience
• Hands-on expertise in: Node.js, Python, Docker & Kubernetes and Deployment & CI/CD Tools.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud platform, covering architecture, deployment, and management of cloud-native applications.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong security orientation and secure coding principles.

Advantage:

• Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) integration or related AI/ML backend infrastructure.
• Familiarity and working experience with Data Leakage Protection (DLP) tools and strategies.
