Industrial Designer

Company Overview Manta Air is a leading developer and manufacturer of parachute recovery systems for UAVs and drones. Based in Israel, we specialize in delivering innovative and reliable solutions to clients worldwide, from design and prototyping to production and field testing.

Role Description We are seeking a talented and creative Industrial Designer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will focus on designing and developing new products and components that combine functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability. You will work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical requirements while maintaining visual appeal and user-friendly operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product concepts from initial sketches to final production-ready designs.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Create 3D models and high-quality renderings for presentations and prototypes.
• Support prototyping processes, including 3D printing and material selection.
• Ensure designs align with brand identity and product usability standards.
• Participate in testing, evaluation, and iteration of product designs.

Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Strong sketching, visualization, and rendering skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and ergonomics.
• Creative problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Background in RC modeling is a plus.
• Familiarity with 3D printed prototyping.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Design or related field (BSc not required).
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
