Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, and responsible Chief Bookkeeper to lead all bookkeeping activities and manage a team of professional bookkeepers to join our public global company. This management role includes full ownership of the company’s accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage the bookkeeping team.
• Oversee bookkeeping for the Israeli HQ and support global subsidiaries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Management of ongoing bookkeeping – vendors, customers, banks, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Submit reports to tax authorities (VAT, withholding tax, annual returns).
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Budget control, monthly reconciliations, handling of accruals, and preparation of cut-off reports.
• Work directly with external audits.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Chief Bookkeeper in a global public company.
• Certified Bookkeeper, Type 3.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, up to the balance sheet
• Experience managing a professional team.
• Full proficiency in SAP and high-level Excel.
• Knowledge of SOX requirements.
• High-level English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
