The PMO helps development unit managers plan, manage, prioritize, and control the tasks integrated into the work plan successfully, while adhering to the schedule, budget, content, and high quality.
This is an intensive role that requires handling many tasks simultaneously, flexibility in work, the ability to withstand pressure, and a "high-speed" work schedule. The candidate is required to have the ability to learn independently, the ability to work in a team, close the loop, operate colleagues and project managers in a matrix manner, deal with conflicts, good interpersonal relations, be thorough, and have a high level of service awareness.
The PMO's responsibilities include:
o Annual planning of the work plan and performing controls during planning
o Quarterly planning of the work plan, performing controls during planning, planning versus execution in implementing the plan, and monitoring quarterly metrics
o Monitoring and controlling the implementation of the work plan
o Monitoring and controlling the utilization of project and unit budgets
o Prioritization Tasks in the work plan on an ongoing basis
o Assistance in planning projects and resources
o Collection, concentration and control of all aspects of the project (risks, budgets, resources, etc.)
o Identification and resolution of material issues with the relevant function holders
o Reflection of the status of the project and/or the portfolio for the control and monitoring functions, including senior management
o Implementation of cross-cutting and professional processes and tools in project management in the project team
Job requirements
- Relevant education: Bachelor's degree - Industry and Management / Technology Management: specialization in project management / information systems / economics and management - mandatory
- 6 years of experience working as a PMO in a large organization - mandatory
- Experience in the field of project management / PMO in the world of software development - mandatory
- Experience working in Agile methodology - mandatory
- Full control of Excel (use of complex formulas, PIVOT) - mandatory
- Experience from a financial organization - significant advantage
- Familiarity with the JIRA system - significant advantage
- Experience In quarterly planning for development units – a significant advantage
- Ability to train and implement project management systems and PPM – an advantage
- Familiarity with the My Single Point system – an advantage
- Familiarity with development methodologies, such as SCRUM / Kanban / Scaled Agile – an advantage
- Building and managing Gantt-based work plans – an advantage
- Familiarity with the world of finance and banking for the purpose of performing budgetary control for projects – an advantage
- High level of English – writing, speaking and reading – a significant advantage
