The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead to drive both the technical direction and execution for our Data Infrastructure team. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems that integrate with multiple clinical data sources.

As a Team Lead, you will spend a significant portion of your time coding and architecting solutions, while also guiding the team and ensuring technical excellence. This is an opportunity to shape the future of our data platform while remaining deeply involved in hands-on development.

• Build a next-generation data platform using cutting-edge AI technology.
• Be part of a strategic, high-priority team driving a key company initiative.
• Integrate with diverse external clinical data sources, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Maintain high reliability, scalability, and data integrity across the platform.
• Uphold strong engineering standards to ensure a robust and future-proof system.

Who are we looking for:

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong expertise in Node.js and/or Python.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or mentoring developers
• Experience designing and building data integration pipelines (APIs, ETL, batch processing).
• Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and optimizing queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills—able to design the right solution for complex data flows.
• Comfortable making architectural decisions and driving technical strategy.

• Experience building self-service data platforms or AI-powered workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Lambdas).
