The Group

Samsung Sensor Architecture group is a small elite team providing advanced architecture solutions and CMOS Image Sensor design infrastructure.

It is charged with initiating innovative next gen architectures, low power design solutions and system architecture for Samsung sensors, as well as standardization of design approaches.

We are looking for people with a broad set of technical skills and entrepreneur mindset, which can research and bring cutting edge solutions to execution, thereby shaping the way people’s memories are stored.

What will you do?

As a Security system architect, you will be responsible for defining the Security features of a complex stand-alone chip with HW and SW components.

The job is focused on Threat Modeling flow and requires full documentation and of the threat model analysis, while looking for system security vulnerabilities and defining the required countermeasures within the system, including HW & SW functions.

You will be reporting directly and discussing with senior management and will be working closely with the digital design (ASIC) and verification teams along-with the embedded FW teams to monitor correct implementation and verification of your architecture.

Requirements

• A B.Sc. in Electrical engineering is a must, M.Sc. in electrical engineering with focus on HW security is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience as HW \ SW \ Verification engineer, with at least 5 years of experience as Security architect or threat modeling roles.
• Knowledge in attack methods – SCA (Side Channel Attacks), DPA (Differential Power Analysis), FIA (Fault Injection Attacks) etc.
• Knowledge in cryptography and data authentication and encryption (AES, SHA, MAC, HKDF, ECDSA, ECDH, etc.)
• Familiarity with standard threat modeling flow and vulnerability testing
• Knowledge of image processing HW systems – an advantage
• Engineering team management experience – an advantage.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
