Head of DevOps – Israel-based

We are a global iGaming group that builds platforms for game providers and online casino operators. Dozens of live brands run on our complex, multi-layer infrastructures.

Our international DevOps team of 12 engineers is located in Ukraine, and we are looking for a senior Head of DevOps to take full ownership of leading that team remotely from Israel.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & managerial leadership of a global DevOps team: mentoring, hiring, performance reviews, and up-skilling.

End-to-end ownership of availability, stability, scalability, and security across all environments (cloud & on-prem) and brands.

Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, service-mesh, and advanced monitoring/observability strategies.

Drive DevSecOps culture, automate release pipelines, and own incident-management processes.

Act as a cultural and professional bridge between Israeli management and R&D/DevOps/Ops international teams; foster transparency and trust with senior leadership.

Must-Have Qualifications

5 + years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience, including 3 + years leading teams.

Deep expertise in self-managed hosting, cloud & on-prem infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform/Ansible.

Proven delivery and maintenance of CI/CD platforms (GitLab/Jenkins) and GitOps tools (ArgoCD/Flux).

Track record with high-traffic production systems, DR plans, and blue-green/canary deployments.

Demonstrated success managing global teams remotely (coaching, performance & people management).

Strong business-level English (spoken and written).

Full-time availability, based in Herzliya.

Strong Advantages

Fluent Ukrainian or Russian.

Background in iGaming / FinTech / Payments / Crypto.

Leadership of on-prem cloud or multi-cloud migrations, including security hardening.

Familiarity with PCI-DSS / ISO 27001 standards.
