An amazing company located in Rehovot is looking for a R&D formulation and chemistry scientist
Essential Functions:
- Support the R&D activities related to all chemical and formulation aspects of product development.
- Contribute scientific expertise to design and implement studies to support early-stage development programs and progression of late stage requirements.
- Develop formulations to support 3D bioprinting.
- Modify and cross link polymers and proteins.
- Conduct experiments in lab and establish manufacturing process.
- Implement professional skills gained while demonstrating independent judgment abilities.
- Summarize and review study results, protocols and reports.
- Perform analytical and mechanical testing (e.g., rheology, swelling, degradation)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including biology, engineering, analytical and preclinical development.
Position Specifications:
- Knowledge/Educational Requirements
- MSc. Or Ph.D. in Chemistry, materials science, polymer science, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in conducting, monitoring and reporting scientific and drug development programs.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team. Must be detail-oriented, creative.
- hands-on lab skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in formulation development, experimental design, and characterization techniques.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Good interpersonal relations and ability to be an integral part of the work team
