AI Engineer

Description

We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to join our core FX360 team and help build the intelligence layer inside the world's leading Embedded FX Infrastructure.

This is not an LLM or chatbot role. This is not about dashboards or UI. You will be building the decision logic that powers real-world currency risk orchestration- live, embedded, and mission-critical.

What You’ll Own

• Design and implement rule-based and AI-supported logic to detect FX risk anomalies, scoring exposures, and trigger hedging recommendations
• Build confidence layers and anomaly detection models for transaction behavior, volatility shifts, and operational triggers
• Create embedded intelligence components that support (but do not override) deterministic logic
• Build logic that runs in production inside a regulated, audited FX execution system
• Own the AI/ML execution from prototype to production, including logging, traceability, and risk control
• Work directly with the Product Architect and CTO to design modular, auditable, explainable systems
  
  

• Volatility-aware confidence scoring for hedging decisions
• Exposure behavior anomaly detection (per client, per currency)
• Real-time signal detection: “market shift alerts”
• Natural-language explanation engine for FX decisions
• Risk heatmap engine for prioritizing exposure handling
  
  

• 3+ years of experience building ML/AI models with real production impact
• Strong hands-on skills in Python, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
• Familiarity with XGBoost, LightGBM, Prophet, or similar
• Ability to access, clean, and model tabular data (transactions, time-series)
• Experience building scoring systems, anomaly detection, or forecasting logic
• Fluent in infrastructure thinking: no UI, no “tools”- just logic + data
• High ownership and independent thinking- you will own this logic layer
  
  

• Exposure to FX/fintech/risk domains
• Experience building audit-compliant or explainable AI components
• Comfort integrating into backend stacks (FastAPI, Supabase, RESTful APIs)
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, probability, and pattern recognition
