Logistic Warehouse RM Manager

Position Details 

UCT Fluid Solutions is one of the world’s leading companies in development, manufacturing and distribution of industrial flow control systems - connectors, fittings and valves for semiconductor, power generation, chemical, oil, gas and other industries.

The logistic manager of the Receiving Warehouse is responsible for overseeing all inbound logistics operations, including the receipt, inspection, documentation, and proper storage of incoming goods. This role ensures alignment with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. The manager leads a team of warehouse staff, coordinates with Purchasing, planning, and quality departments, and maintains accurate inventory records using ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience in a manufacturing environment are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
2. Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
3. Ensure accurate inventory control and documentation using SAP and other warehouse systems.
4. Collaborate with internal departments such as Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and HR.
5. Oversee tool inventory and hazardous materials storage in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
6. Drive process improvements and operational efficiency (5S/LSS).
7. Manage additional warehouse areas including raw materials, packaging, and saw operations for material cutting and dispatch.

Experience Requirement:

1. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in warehouse management, including inventory control and team leadership.
2. Hands-on experience with warehouse operations such as receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
3. Proficiency in SAP and warehouse management systems.
4. Experience managing tool and hazardous materials warehouses.
5. Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Lean).
6. Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree - required
• Degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering and Management -advantage
