Network Specialist

A global company located in Petah Tikva is looking for Network Professional Service Engineer

Role Overview:

Responsible for managing and supporting the corporate network, participating in global projects, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, and providing on-site support for labs and users in the Israeli offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and providing both remote and on-site (Israel-based) technical support.
• Performing network configurations, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Documenting and maintaining the network infrastructure.
• Monitoring network performance and reporting on technical metrics.
• Supporting global IT and infrastructure projects.
• Developing automation processes for enterprise network operations.

Requirements:

• Strong and in-depth understanding of networking fundamentals (CCNA/CCNP level).
• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP.
• Expertise in network topologies and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment – switches, routers, wireless solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Service-oriented mindset, strong teamwork skills, and willingness to travel when needed.
• High motivation for continuous learning and professional growth.

Advantages:

• Experience in Python scripting.
• Experience working with Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and Software Defined Access (SDA).
• Familiarity with security systems such as SD-WAN, firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet), NAC, VPN.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure: AWS, Azure.
