Prisma-Photonics is a rapidly growing startup company, developing the next-generation smart-infrastructure solution based on novel fiber-sensing technology (smart roads, smart cities, perimeters, and grid monitoring, etc.). The company offers an award-winning disruptive solution; a “sensor free” approach to smart infrastructure. The company is VC backed and in the revenues stage.

Combining pioneering technology in optical fiber sensing with state-of-the-art machine learning, we help prevent environmental disasters, protect human lives, and keep critical energy and transportation backbones running smoothly.

We are seeking a talented, self-driven and passionateJunior Software Support position to join our R&D team and to take a meaningful part in overcoming the company’s challenges while maintaining a professional work methodology.

What You’ll Do:

• System analysis, development of smart tools, performance optimization and troubleshooting system issues.
• Development of ad hoc solutions - adapting systems and creating solutions to special customer needs.
• Software integration – build, testing and deployment automation.
• Software operations – Installations, updates, version integrations and Release processes.
• Maintain high standards of operational quality by utilizing good practices and processes and improving them along the way.

What You Bring:

• 2 year of experience in a relevant role.
• Python - Learned about data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design and coding practices.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Support orientation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• a drive to resolve problems
• People person that knows how to ensure the user that we will find and resolve the issue(s)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Great to have:

• Existing experience in software support.
• Knowledge in operating systems on both Windows and Linux
• Knowledge in programming.
