Network Specialist

An international high-tech company is looking for a Network Engineer

Position Overview:

Responsible for managing and supporting the corporate network, participating in global projects worldwide, collaborating with cross-organizational IT teams, and providing onsite support for labs and offices in Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and provide technical support both remotely and onsite (within Israel) to company users.
• Perform network configuration changes, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Create and maintain detailed inventory and documentation of network infrastructure.
• Continuously monitor network status, gather insights, and produce metric reports.
• Support global projects and ongoing tasks in collaboration with cross-organizational IT and infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation processes for global network operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals at the CCNA/CCNP level.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, and BGP.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and topologies.
• Hands-on experience working with Cisco networking equipment – switches, routers, wireless devices (both enterprise-level and data center environments).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills.
• Service-oriented approach towards internal customers.
• Ability to lead projects thoroughly and accurately while meeting deadlines.
• Passion for learning and self-driven professional development.
• Mobility and ability to travel to remote sites when required.

Advantages:

• Scripting knowledge in Python.
• Experience working with Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and SDA.
• Experience with security systems such as SD-WAN, firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet), NAC, VPN.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures such as AWS and Azure.
