Electronics Buyer

A leading global company is hiring an Electronics Buyer for a full-time position in Netanya!

Job Description:

• Purchasing electronic components for development and production, with a focus on quality.
• Entering purchase orders, tracking orders, and updating the system.
• Managing the order from issuance to receipt in the warehouse and payment to the supplier.
• Collaborating with the R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance departments.
• Ongoing work with suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Initiating and improving processes.

Requirements:

• Education: Practical Engineer / Industrial Engineering and Management Engineer or any other relevant academic degree in the field of electronics.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Buyer in an industrial company and knowledge of the electronic components market in Israel and worldwide.
• Expertise and understanding in purchasing electronic components.
• Ability to conduct negotiations of various types and scales.
• Strong commercial skills and experience in closing large-scale contracts.
• In-depth familiarity with suppliers in the electronics/electromechanics fields in Israel and abroad.
• Experience in general procurement, including purchasing goods and services required for the company's ongoing operations, such as: consulting and support agreements, office furniture and equipment, IT and computing equipment, office building maintenance, electronic testing equipment, engineering software, training courses, and more.
• Experience working with Priority ERP system.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and datasheets.
