- The team responsible for military cable production requires an employee with experience in cable/wiring design.
- The position includes full responsibility for the ordering process, control and communication with contractors, while meeting quality requirements and deadlines.
- Receiving wiring diagrams and engineering documentation and transferring them to subcontractors for execution.
- Ongoing management of relationships with subcontractors - including coordination, monitoring work progress and handling ongoing issues.
- Opening purchase orders with contractors, working with ERP system.
- Responsibility for pricing cable production projects - receiving quotes, comparison and presenting recommendations.
- Working with multiple interfaces in the organization - engineering, operations, procurement, quality assurance.
- Participation in quality controls and compliance with military production standards (MIL-STDs).
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with subcontractors in wiring field and/or experience in wiring/cable design - mandatory
- Technical understanding in reading drawings and engineering documentation - mandatory
- Good command of Office applications and ERP systems - mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - mandatory
- Experience in project pricing or working with procurement - significant advantage
- Native-level Hebrew proficiency, technical English - advantage
- Training as electronics or mechanical technician/engineer - advantage
- Familiarity with military standards in cable and wiring field (MIL-STD, IPC 620) - advantage
