Appcharge is looking for a QA Engineer with experience in the payments domain to join our growing Payments team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our payment infrastructure. If you have a keen eye for detail, love digging into transaction flows, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments — this is the place for you.

In your day-to-day, you will collaborate closely with teams across R&D to design comprehensive test plans, execute test cases, and support the identification and documentation of issues. You’ll champion best practices in quality assurance, helping ensure our product consistently meets high standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize test plans for payment features and financial transaction flows
• Perform hands-on testing on web, Android, and iOS
• Test integrations with PSPs, wallets, and 3rd-party services.
• Investigate and analyze production issues using logs, monitoring tools, and backend data
• Work with developers and product managers to identify edge cases and prevent bugs before they happen
• Document issues clearly and contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in manual QA for web and mobile applications — a must
• Experience testing payment systems or other transactional flows — a must
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with investigating issues using logs, APIs, or backend tools
• Basic knowledge of SQL and client-server architecture
• Comfortable writing clear and structured test cases, STDs, and test plans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Familiarity with fraud scenarios, chargebacks, or reconciliation processes – a plus
