THE ROLE

We’re looking for a sharp and experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of Cross River’s most critical system - COS.

In this role, you’ll be embedded in a fast-paced product team, designing and executing manual and automated test plans that cover everything from backend APIs to customer-facing applications. You’ll take ownership of quality from day one - helping build a scalable testing culture, mentoring junior engineers, and working closely with developers and product managers to catch issues before they hit production. • Own QA strategy and execution for your squad - both manual and automated testing
• Design comprehensive test plans and maintain detailed, reproducible test cases
• Develop and expand automated test suites for APIs, web apps, and backend systems
• Work closely with Developers, Product, and DevOps to shift-left and integrate testing early
• Track, triage, and follow through on bugs with clarity and urgency
• Help build a culture of quality through documentation, metrics, and knowledge sharing
  
  

• Fluent in English and Hebrew - written and verbal
• 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in complex software environments
• Proven experience writing automated tests in tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, CI/CD, and SDLC best practices
• Experience testing APIs (Postman, REST, GraphQL) and backend systems
• Familiarity with modern QA frameworks and version control systems (Git)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams
